Christmas Lights Photos - Kansas City Metro Area (November 28, 2007)
Christas Lights Around The Kansas City Area (Photos - November 28, 2007)
I was
traveling across the country by car and had an
evening to spend in the Kansas City area. My friend Kelly and I chose to seek out christmas
lights in various neighborhoods and we first began our adventure by visiting
"The Plaza" in Kansas City. Many of the buildings are outlined with christmas
lights as seen in the adjacent photo.
We then visited a suburban neighborhood in Olathe,
Kansas that has various Christmas postcard themes on their front lawns.
Yay! The lights were really bright and pretty!
Ooooooooh! A lighted skiing polar bear and his igloo.
I think that is the first praying Santa Claus I have ever seen! :)
Joy to the world.
A Christas choo-choo train.
The winning home in my mind was this front lawn with a quite an array of Christmas lights and decorations.
Here's the one and only picture of Kelly and I. I greatly tinkered with
the brightness and contrast of the photo so you could at least see the outline of us! :p)
